2002 House of Delegates Annual Report


  • Administration:
  • The office is being reorganized and centralized to better serve the membership and alleviate the situations encountered this year.
  • The by law changes as approved by the 2001 HoD have been submitted to USA swimming for final approval.

  • Registration:
  • Conversion to TM II
  • Batches failed w/o explanation
  • Hy-Tek worked with clubs to correct the issues
  • Significant registration reconciliation problems
    •
  • All but two clubs have been reasonably reconciled
  • Batches now processing cleanly
  • Next season should process w/o issue
  • Reported bug in club import fixed to eliminate duplicate registrations that then halt the system batch processing ability and terminate transfers to USA Swimming

  • Registration Accounts
  • Collections of registration fees continues to be an issue.
  • PVS's accounting system is not designed to handle accounts receivable. Board voted unanimously in January to no longer accept registrations with out payment.
  • Statements of Account and complete athlete registrations rosters are going out to all the clubs over the fast few days.
  • Two clubs had the most organized batches of Athletes and Non-athletes
  • The Capital Sea Devils
  • York Swim Club.
