2010 USA Swimming National Championships
August 3 - 7, 2010
At the October 11, 2010 PVS Board Meeting travel assistance requests were considered for the following swimmers who competed in individual events (not to include time trials or relays) at the 2010 ConocoPhillips NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS, August 3-7, 2010 in Irvine, CA. The amount of travel funds set aside for this meet was $6750.00, with a cap of $450.00 per swimmer. The requirements were 4 events in sanctioned PVS meets between 4/01/2010 and the meet entry deadline (LC season), with no "double dipping" allowed. Of the 36 possible requests, 34 were received before the PVS deadline of Sept. 6, 2010. Of the 34 received requests, 32 full shares were granted for a total pay out of $14,400.00. (At Nov. 15, 2010 Meeting the PVS Board voted to grant full shares for each qualified swimmer.)
