The Potomac Marlins have announced this meet has been rescheduled for February 25-26, 2006 at Cub Run. There is no change in the events offered or the session start times. No new entires are being accepted.

The Fairfax County Park Authority (FCPA) advised the Potomac Marlins at approximately 10:45am Saturday morning that all FCPA facilities will close at 1:00pm Saturday and will remain closed until at least Monday morning.

Accordingly, the Potomac Marlins are cancelling their PM 14/U Winter Qualifier Meet for this weekend.

A determination remains to be made whether it can be rescheduled.

The decision was apparently made on a county wide basis and is being made applicable to all activities scheduled for their facilities.

PVS's policy regarding inclement weather is found in PVS's Policy and Procedures It is PVS policy to conduct meets if at all possible. That policy also provides that ";PVS will make every attempt to conduct activities as they are scheduled. However, if the facility we are scheduled to use decides to close; our activities are also canceled."
