Eligibility: Open to Potomac Valley Swimming registered athletes age 13 & Over as of the first day of the meet. Contestants must not have bettered either the SCY or LCM Not Faster Than (NST) times listed.
Warnings:

Any club that enters an unregistered or improperly registered athlete, falsifies an entry in any way, or permits an unregistered coach to represent them, will be fined the sum of $100.00 and no further entries will be accepted from that club until the said fine has been paid.

Entry fees are due with meet entry. Unpaid fees will be reported to the PVS Administrative Office at the conclusion of the meet.

Rules:

Current USA Swimming rules shall govern the meet. A contestant may compete in a maximum of six (6) individual events, and compete in no more than three (3) individual events per day. Any athlete who betters the Not Faster Than times for PVS Junior Champs after the submission of entries is precluded from competing in that event at this meet.

All events are timed finals.

An athelete may not swim an event at this meet if they have entered it as bonus event at PVS Senior LC Championship.

No late entries are permitted for this meet.

The "Whistle Start Protocol" and "No Recall" procedures will be used at this meet.
Positive Check In: Positive check-in is required for all individual events 400 Meters and longer. These events will be seeded on the deck. The Meet Director reserves the right to check in events of 200 Metes or shorter. Swimmers who do not check-in will be scratched from that event. Athletes who have checked in, have been seeded, and fail to swim the event will be barred from their next scheduled individual event.
Order of Swims: The 800 and 1500 M Freestyle will be swum Fast to Slow and alternating Women and Men.
Warm-up: The prescribed Potomac Valley Swimming warm-up procedures and safety policies will be followed. The meet director may determine the structure of the warm-up, including times and lane assignments.
Late Entries/ Time Trial: No late (deck) entries will be accepted.
Time trials will not be conducted at this meet.
Supervision: Coaches are responsible for the conduct of their swimmers and for cleaning up their team areas.
Scoring: Events: 20, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
Officials: Officials assigned to this meet sign in at the recording table at the start of the warm-up. Certified officials, who have not been contacted, should volunteer their services to the referee.
Timers:Participating clubs are required to provide timers in proportion to their entries. The meet director will determine the number of timers per club and lane assignments. The host club(s) are required to provide one timer per lane.
Admission Programs: There is no admission charge. Program for all sessions will be available for $4.50.
Fees: Fees for individual events are $4.75.
Meet Entry Procedures: Each club is requested to remit one check to cover the entry fee for the entire team. Please note your club name (if not a club check), the # of entries, and the meet name or sanction number on your check. Please do not send cash. Telephone entries will not be accepted. Entry fees are due with entry. Computer disk entries (Hy-Tek) require 2, 3.5"disks, meet entry report by swimmer and a meet entry report by event from the team manager program. Entries may also be submitted on the PVS master entry sheet. Also submit a completed "entry cover sheet". Signature and phone number of a club official must be included with entry for validation of entries. There will be a $1.00 surcharge per athlete for manual entries of 10 or more. No late entries are permitted for this meet.
Deadline: The Meet Director must receive all entries for this meet no later than
5:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 11, 2000.
