Motion to accept the September 2001 Board of Director's Meeting minutes with clarifications made. PASSED.

Travel Proposal: Thirl stated that a proposed change to the existing travel policy had been distributed and asked that the Board members review this proposal.

Club Meets: A reminder will be sent to clubs that the meet announcements for their meets should be submitted as a part of the bid process and that substantive changes should not be made to the meet after such submission.

Age Group Division:
Evan will accept 2 nominations for Zone coaches at 14 & under championships and 2 nominations for Zone coaches at Age Group Champs.

Motion: The two 13&over athletes with the fastest qualifying times up to including the Sectional meet will be considered first for the Zone team. TABLED.

Old Business
The Board voted at its September Board meeting to make a $5000 donation be made to the relief efforts in connection with the tragedies of September 11, with the appropriate charity(ies) to receive this donation to be determined at this meeting. A motion was made at this meeting that a $5000 donation be made to the Pentagon Relief Fund administered by the US Navy and Marine Corps. PASSED.
