Outstanding Athlete Awards

2023-2024

This annual award is presented to the highest performing athletes in each age group. Beginning with the 2008-2009 season, the awards are based on performance at a single age.

The award is based solely on the swimming achievements of the athletes from September 1 to August 31. The selection of the 2023-2024 Outstanding Athletes used the following criteria:

  • Based on Power Points of the athlete's top four swims (LCM or SCY)
  • Swimmers may only use a LCM or SCY version of the an event discipline and distance (example, an individual may not use 200 LCM Breaststroke and 200 SCY breaststroke).
  • Total Points are the sum of the following Power Points
    • Swim 1 x 0.4
    • Swim 2 x 0.3
    • Swim 3 x 0.2
    • Swim 4 x 0.1
